- There are no "quick fixes" offered,
instead we start by understanding the challenge you and your practice face -
clinical or commercial. It is here that we will work with you and your staff
to identify the problems perceived.
- It is often easier for an "outsider" to
gain information that otherwise personnel, customers and competitors would
be hesitant to provide or articulate to an "internal" person. From
this "rich picture" and our perspective, we will try to give you
choices for working towards solutions since it is rare for there to be only
a single option.
- Often we are asked to implement initiatives by
optometrists and management who know what is required but who feel too
exposed to recommend or implement the changes, or indeed do not have the
expertise to hand within the organisation. Here we act primarily as
"change agents" and "facilitators" to striving for the
outcomes the management want to achieve. It is therefore not unusual for us
to "lead a team" to direct and manage the change process in an
organisation.
Most of our work involves
managing change and providing business expertise in optometric practices working towards solutions rather
than producing exact answers to specific issues.
