Professor Hirji has been involved in Stage 1 & 2 Assessments, in writing, editing and administering OSCEs in optometry, and is the principal tutor of the intensive and interactive revision tutorials as part of a small group of students recommended before attempting the College of Optometrists Stage 2 Assessments and  OSCEs. Please go to  Stage 2 Assessment Revision Tutorials & Preparation for the College of Optometrists OSCEs for a three day programme that covers the syllabus including a day of mock OSCEs including top hints and tips on passing the College of Optometrists OSCEs .

HIRJI Associates will provide Stage 2 revision tutorials and virtual/mock OSCEs limited to 12 candidates per 3 day course. 

These revision tutorials, delivered by Professor Hirji, are designed to review the core optometric knowledge base, consider the practical application of that knowledge in Stage 2 Assessments and then communicating this as appropriate to lay persons. Over the three days the following schedule is planned:

Day 1& 2 Revision to cover the Stage 2 Assessments and the GOC core competencies for optometrists. Subjects to include: Ocular Disease and Abnormalities, Contact Lenses, Routine, Vocational and Occupational Dispensing, Investigative Techniques, Use of Drugs, Binocular Vision, and Low Vision

Day 3 Virtual/mock OSCEs within the group to gain experience of both marking (examiner) and being the candidate. This “inside track” will enable delegates to better prepare for the actual OSCEs

Dates: 20th, 21 & 22nd February 2012

Times: All tutorials begin at 9 am

Fees: Full payment of £660 inc handouts on CD & lunch for 3 Days

Terms: All tutorials/courses are booked on a "first come first served" basis. Delegates should understand that attendance at the tutorials does not guarantee success in the OSCEs and HIRJI Associates  reserve the right to cancel these tutorials in part or in total

Refunds: 50%  refund for cancellations received 8 weeks before the week of the tutorials. No refunds for cancellations thereafter.
